Outlive Your Life by Max Lucado

Outlive Your Life is a thought provoking and heart moving book that spurs us on to live out the Great Commission. Max Lucado is a very visual author. He rarely tells you that this or that happens, rather he shows you with word pictures. That is one reason his writing flows so well.

This book was brought about by three questions that were presented to the author:
Q 1. Had you been a German Christian during World War II, would you have taken a stand against Hitler?
Q 2.. Had you lived in the South during the civil rights conflict, would you have taken a stand against slavery?
Q 3. When your grandchildren discover you lived in a day in which 1.75 billion people were poor and 1 billion were hungry, how will they judge your response?

Mr. Lucado urges us to get out of our clam shells that we hide inside to deny the hurt around us. He encourages us to do as the Bible says and help everyone we can as if they were actually Jesus.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I highly recommend it. You can purchase it from Alibris here  if you'd like.
