Jasmine turned 12 years old this year on March 3rd. She had a very nice birthday. My dad and Billy both took the day off of work, and Jasmine, my Mom and Dad, and Billy and I had a very festive day! The festivities started around lunchtime with a spaghetti dinner, followed by us singing Jasmine happy birthday before her blowing out the candles on her big top cupcake, and then gift opening. She ended up with $150 to shop with that day. After the party at home we went to Crabtree Mall, and later out to eat at Olive Garden, then to see the movie Tooth Fairy (cute movie). About a week later my Mom arranged a surprise party for Jasmine at her house. My brother and his family came and they did all did a great job of jumping out and saying "Surprise!". Jasmine was indeed surprised. See how happy she was:
We also had a birthday party for her here at our house. It was a costume party. Lots of fun was had by all and everyone had very nice costumes! Here is Jasmine dressed up as a Sea Princess:
She is holding a cupcake her and Nana made the night before. They poured the batter into 5 different bowls and dyed each bowl of batter a different color with food coloring. Then Jasmine scooped the different colors in the cupcake tin and baked. They look very pretty.
She had lots of wonderful fun ! She is a beautiful sweet girl!
